In 2001 Kay relocated to Hollywood, California to pursue a career as a freelance artist. Almost immediately, while working with Splash News Agency, she landed an ad campaign for “Planet of the Apes” with her first celebrity, Linda Harrison. Shortly thereafter Voraotsady worked with Green Dot Films on a commercial for MTV’s “"DM2" music. She gained international exposure working with Asian hip-hop artists on a music video featured in Korean MTV.   • She worked with the Southern hip-hop artist Bubba Sparxxx on his music videos “Lovely Bubba Sparxxx” and “Deliverance”.
  • Through Bratskeir & Maybeline, NY, Voraotsady makeovers were featured on WAGA FOX5’s Good Day Atlanta for a special edition called “Make-Unders”.

  • In 2005, Kay did a campaign for SCI-FI Channel while working with Sugar Communication, NY.
